About the role

The Auditor-General's Department is a great place to start your career and will give you a broad range of auditing, financial, accounting and management experience.

As a Graduate Audit Analyst, you will work as part of a small audit team carrying out financial and compliance auditing and system reviews on a range of clients.

Tasks include:

  • Examining and verifying financial related transactions and records.
  • Evaluating internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems.
  • Preparing reports.

You will also complete our graduate development program during your first 12 months in the Department. This program helps you to settle into your new job, learn how the Department works and provides you with the skills to be successful in your role.

Please note: The roles will start January 2020. Applicants may be asked if they wish to start earlier than the proposed start date subject to business requirements.
